When you are placing the order in the Au3 Online shop, it is possible to choose Standard Courier or Express Courier (Air). All the shipment options are insured and safe way to ship jewelry globally. 

The shipping is free for all Au3 Online shop jewelry orders over 500 €. The shipping fees for orders under 500 € are listed here.

Our collection jewelry is mainly made to order. After you have placed your order and paid your purchase, our skilled goldsmith begins to work on your jewelry. Our collection piece is ready for you in 4-6 weeks. You will be notified when the jewelry piece is ready.

It is also possible to pick up the jewelry from our store at Unioninkatu 27 in Helsinki. Au3 Goldsmiths store is open Mon–Fri 11am–6pm, Sat 11am–4pm.

Ring orders: If the size of the ordered ring does not fit, we are usually able to make ring reductions and enlargements. We offer free resizing of half a size up or down for our online shop customers, as long as you contact us upon receiving the ring. Please ship the ring back for resizing within 30 days of receiving it. We craft our jewelry mainly to order. We also have a small limited selection of ready-made jewelry pieces at our jewelry store in Helsinki.

When placing an order for a collection piece which is not available in stock: Once you have paid for your order, one of our skilled goldsmiths will begin crafting your piece. You will be notified when your jewelry is ready for collection at our store, or we can deliver it globally using secure, insured shipping.

Collection jewelry typically takes 4 to 6 weeks to complete. Special edition pieces or unique personalized items may require a longer timeframe, depending on the specifics of your order. At the moment we do not design and craft bespoke pieces to order outside our collections. We provide a certificate of authenticity for all materials and for each piece designed and crafted by Au3 Goldsmiths.

Au3 Goldsmiths’ head designer is goldsmith Jussi Louesalmi. In addition, goldsmith Tero Hannonen designs jewelry pieces and collections presented at our store. Au3 Goldsmiths also features jewelry by goldsmith Anu Kaartinen, whose independent designs are available at the store. All of their designs are available at the Au3 Goldsmiths store in Helsinki and in the Au3 Online shop at au3goldsmiths.com.

Selected collections, such as Keto Meadow and MyWay by Jussi Louesalmi, are also available at selected retailers in Finland.

Au3 Goldsmiths also features a small selection of jewelry by goldsmith Heidi Vornan at the Helsinki store.

Please note that the Keto Meadow jewelry gift card is only valid in the same store where it was purchased. If it is purchased at one of the Keto Meadow retailer stores, you should use the gift card in the same store.

All jewelry, also the collection jewelry pieces, are mainly made to order. The time from placing the order to a ready made piece from a jewelry collection takes around 4–6 weeks.

The shipping time of the jewelry varies depending on the country the item is shipped to, 2–7 days in general. 

In EU we deliver to Finland, Åland Islands, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. 

Outside EU we deliver to Andorra, Australia, Bahamas, Canada, Cayman Islands, Faroe Islands, Great Britain, Greenland, Hong Kong SAR, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and United States.

We do not make partial shipments. If the order has both stock products, marked with fast shipping label, and made-to-order products, we will send all of them in the same shipment. If you want to receive products in different times, we recommend placing separate orders.

The buyer of the jewelry is responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply in the destination country. You will get more details at the Au3 Online shop checkout.

Au3 Goldsmiths is not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance or the shipping company.

When returning an item, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Shipping is free for exchanges and size adjustments.

Please note that unique jewelry and jewelry with special personalization cannot be returned or exchanged. Special personalization also includes less common ring sizes: women’s rings under 15mm or over 20mm in diameter, and men’s rings under 17mm or over 22mm in diameter. Additionally, engraved jewelry with markings or personal information cannot be returned or exchanged.

Conditions of return: The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Items must be in original, new condition and in the original jewelry box to qualify for return or exchange. The original purchase receipt is also required. We recommend using insured mail when shipping the item back to us. We primarily use 18K white gold, 18K yellow gold, and 18K rose gold in our jewelry, with all gold being always at least 99.9% recycled. We also work with 950 platinum and 925 silver. All metals are nickel-free. 

We use high-quality natural gemstones and conflict-free diamonds in our jewelry. The diamonds are ethically sourced and fully traceable. We do not use conflict diamonds, and every stone is acquired in accordance with strict sustainability and ethical sourcing standards. All our diamonds come with Kimberley Process Certification, and our diamond supplier is also a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). RJC assesses business practices in the jewelry industry against ethical, human rights, social and environmental standards.

Due to the war of aggression caused by Russia against Ukraine, we don't use diamonds from Russia in our jewelry.

We use recycled 18K gold in our jewelry. This means the gold is already in circulation, reducing the need for newly mined materials. It allows us to create high-quality pieces while supporting a more responsible and sustainable use of precious resources.

Platinum is a naturally white, durable, and rare precious metal. It is highly resistant to wear and keeps its color over time.

Gold is a perfect material for everyday use because of its durability. With three beautiful shades to choose from, a classic yellow gold, a modern white gold, or a playful rose gold, you're sure to find the perfect fit for your taste. Gold can also be resized and modified easily. At Au3 Goldsmiths we use yellow gold that is a little more red than usual in Europe.

Both metals, 18K gold and 950 platinum, are an excellent choice for rings meant to last a lifetime.

18K gold contains 75% pure gold, while 14K gold contains 58.5%. This means 18K gold has a richer color and higher gold content. At Au3 Goldsmiths we use recycled 18K gold in our jewelry.

Diamond's ability to reflect light is brighter than other gemstones which gives them a unique sparkle. 

In our jewelry we use natural white diamonds, mainly TW/VS, and colorful diamonds.

The colorful diamonds we use in our jewelry are natural color diamonds and natural heat-treated color diamonds. Heat treatment enhances the natural color of the diamonds.

Natural diamonds are among the hardest and most treasured gemstones in the world. Formed deep within the earth over billions of years, each natural diamond carries a unique story — no two are ever exactly alike.

Like you and your loved one, every diamond is one of a kind. A natural diamond is not just a gemstone, but a rare piece of nature, shaped by time and meant to last for generations.

TW/VS stands for Top Wesselton / Very Slightly Included, a grading system commonly used in the Nordic countries. 

Our high-quality white diamonds, the quality being mainly TW/VS or in few items W/VS. 

TW (Top Wesselton) refers to the diamond’s color and corresponds roughly to G–H in the international (GIA) grading scale. This means the diamond appears bright and near colorless to the eye. VS (Very Slightly Included) describes the clarity. These diamonds have very small inclusions that are not visible without magnification.

In international grading, G/VS refers to a diamond with G color and VS clarity. In practice, TW/VS and G/VS diamonds are very similar in appearance and quality, with no visible difference to the naked eye. Both represent a high-quality, beautiful choice for fine jewelry.

Keto Meadow jewelry is available in a variety of color combinations, designed by goldsmith Jussi Louesalmi.

We can create Keto Meadow pieces with custom color wishes. Designer Jussi Louesalmi will take your color preferences into account and compose the final gemstone arrangement.

The composition is approved by visiting our store in Helsinki or by reviewing an emailed image. Once the color design is approved, we begin crafting the piece. Please note that customized jewelry cannot be returned or exchanged.

We are often asked if a customer’s old jewelry can be used to create our collection pieces. When making collection jewelry, it is challenging to incorporate old jewelry directly into the piece, as gemstones may not match the exact specifications required. Therefore, we don’t create collection jewelry from a customer’s own materials.

At the moment we are not taking orders for unique, custom made bespoke jewelry. However, it is possible to use old jewelry as material credit when ordering a collection piece.

Rings can be resized unless otherwise specified in the product description. For example, titanium rings cannot be resized.

In most cases, we can adjust ring size by either reducing or enlarging it. We offer free resizing of up to half a size (+/-0.5). The first resizing is free if the ring is returned within 30 days of receipt. Read more about measuring your finger in here.

Ordering a ring requires accurate finger measurements. These measurements can be taken at our Au3 Goldsmiths store in Helsinki, or at any professional goldsmith store with customer service. You can also use our ring size chart to help determine your size. At Au3 Goldsmiths, we measure ring size by diameter (mm).

If you are unable to visit a goldsmith store, we offer guidance for measuring your finger at home. If the size of the ordered ring doesn’t fit, we can adjust the size with reductions or enlargements. For our online shop customers, we offer free resizing of up to half a size up or down.

We offer the possibility to create a collection ring with custom color preferences. Our goldsmiths take your wishes into account and compose a harmonious gemstone arrangement for the design. Once the composition is approved, we begin crafting your piece. The price of custom-colored items is determined by the gemstones used. Depending on the design, it may also be possible to add gemstones, special markings, or engravings to engagement or wedding rings from our collections. All final design decisions are made by the designer.

A solitaire ring is an engagement ring that features a single gemstone, most commonly a diamond. The term “solitaire” is sometimes also used for rings with a prominent center stone, even when complemented by smaller accent diamonds.

A contour ring or hugger ring is designed to pair beautifully with a solitaire ring. In the Keto Meadow jewelry collection by goldsmith Jussi Louesalmi you can also find narrowing model rings where a contour style Arc and Arc+ rings are beautifully stacked. These stackable rings follow the shape of the center stone, or a center ring creating a seamless and elegant ring combination.

A contour ring, also known as a hugger ring, is designed to complement a solitaire ring. This stackable ring follows the shape of the center stone, creating a seamless and elegant ring stack. It can also be paired with a narrowing ring model, where it beautifully mirrors the curves of the center ring for a harmonious fit.

It is possible to get engravings on the rings. You can order engraving at the same time with the ring or bring the rings to be engraved later. Engraving is made by hand, and it takes a few workdays. Prepare to leave your ring in our store if you come later to get engravings for your ring. The price of the engraving is 35 €. Please notice that jewelry with engraving cannot be returned or exchanged.

We recommend annual maintenance for the jewelry. Annual maintenance for our jewelry products is 30 €. In maintenance we check the settings of the stones, clean and polish the ring.

It is recommended to clean the jewelry piece regularly. Warm water and dishwashing liquid with a soft brush (for example a soft toothbrush) are best tools for jewelry cleaning at home. First soak the jewelry in warm water with a hint of dishwashing liquid for half an hour. After soaking brush jewelry with soft brush, especially under and top of the stones. Rinse the jewelry with water.
